Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions! My name is Julie and I spent most of my life living in Gangnam (style comes naturally to me) until I went on to a New England boarding school in 2008- I am now attending Stanford University.
I am also quirky as fuck.
I realize that I have been focusing very keenly on my character, actively living in a way that improves and shapes who I am. While it causes me confusions and I feel like I fail, and it does hinder short-term, visible accomplishments/stress level, I am glad and proud of myself for having made this choice. Because it will show in the long-term. Do not give up because it is difficult now. Keep on going, because shaping who I am is the most important thing and I know that my life will change because of the choices I make now.
Julie, never let the fear of what other people think stop you from being yourself. You are a naturally confident person – but anyone who puts any kind of effort to see what you are like will see how golden-hearted you are. So do not shy away; do not get intimidated; do not focus on others liking you. Do NOT lose yourself.
"The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice. Ironically, their virtues make them vulnerable; they are often wounded, sometimes destroyed."
- Ernest Hemingway, author and journalist, Nobel laureate (1899-1961)
